NNU Rally and Following March 5-18-2012 (44 images)

My coverage today started with the National Nurses United Rally at Daley Plaza. The rally was peaceful, but an arrest on the southeast corner increased tensions. The crowd took the streets, and a march went down Michigan Ave. Another arrest took place at the river after a man climbed up and tore a "Welcome NATO" banner in half. The march still continued throughout the loop into the afternoon.
