An Anti-Capitalism March started at Haymarket Square. The march then went through downtown, and there was a very heavy police presence. There were numerous kettles, where the police surrounded protestors and would not let people continue marching. There were a few arrests. An Anti-Capitalism March started at Haymarket Square. The march then went through downtown, and there was a very heavy police presence. There were numerous kettles, where the police surrounded protestors and would not let people continue marching. There were a few arrests. The march eventually ended up at Michigan Ave, between the Hilton and Blackstone Hotels, where the crowd was kettled again. The march proceeded a few blocks down Michigan Ave, where there was yet another kettle, much longer then any previous. We got out of this one, and stayed on the perimeter. After what felt like a very long time, the march was allowed to continue, but had dispersed significantly.
